Big Wheeler!

He loved it when he was two and now he is back in love with it again. Good thing I didn't give it away, it is providing him with tons of entertainment. I think he likes the fact that I don't make him wear his helmet to ride it. Rebel child! Oh and I almost forgot, his favorite thing to do on it is ride it down a hill and crash at the bottom. Sounds fun, right?

GONNA PARTY LIKE IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY!
PLAY SOME SOCCER LIKE IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY!!

OK, so it wasn't her birthday, but it was her first soccer game! She had a blast, until she twisted her little ankle which is now pretty dang swollen. She was a trooper and has lots more games coming up to show off her skills! GO KENNA!

Thanksgiving point!

This weekend I decided (ok was persuaded (easily)) to do a last minute half marathon. It was at Thanksgiving Point, and I have to say it was so much fun. The course was amazing. It took you through their golf course and gardens and then onto the Jordan River Parkway and through some random farmlands in Lehi. The course was awesome, not a fast course, but so pretty! It was totally organized, and they took such great care of the runners. I LOVED the medals, and by the end of the race had decided that this race was 100 times better than The Salt Lake Marathon. I will do it again. To top it off, they gave all of the families a free day pass to all of the attractions which was so much fun! We spent the day there with the kids and then Steve and I went back later while the kids slept over and Grandma and Grandpa's.

The boys were so excited that they had a rock wall to climb. They love those things. I do too, I should have done it!

Next we went to the farm. The kids rode ponies, ate lots of sugar, rode on a cow train, and played with lots of baby animals.

At the end we went and checked out the Dinosaur Museum which the boy have been dying to go to. I think we will have to do it again next year. Who's in???

A wagon full!

I love fresh veggies. Can't say I have the greenest thumb, but what I lack in skill I make up for in effort. I spent my Sunday morning at Home Depot picking out the greenest and best looking plants I could find. They were on sale. It was bliss. I have spent the week taking them out in the morning to get some sun and back in for rainstorms and freezing cold temperatures. I talk to them, tell them stories about all of the good fruit they will send my way, and sometimes I need I have give them little pep talks because they look sad and droopy. I think they miss the sun, and frankly so do I.

I can't wait to get these little plants in the ground and see how much stuff I get this year. Can you say fresh salsa?

Ahhh Spring!

Well, the four kids braved the sprinklers showing their anger towards the cold months we just experienced. It as time to get wet! The skies were blue and the temperature was inching up to 80. What more could you ask for?

Summer we know you are coming! AND WE ARE READY!

The last half!

(the finish line... Song shedding some well earned tears of joy and me being dumb as usual)
FUN FUN FUN! That is all I can say. I woke up to the most amazing morning; perfect weather for a run!!! I had the oppurtunity to run the last half of the Salt Lake Marathon with my sister in law Song. It was so enjoyable for me becuase I wasn't worried about my time, I was there just to help and hopefully entertain her as she made it through the grueling last half. My duties included but were not limited to encouraging, running ahead to reserve a porto-potty, giving a little push when needed, harassing all of the people around us, and chatting the miles away. I hope I didn't drive her crazy.

She did such a great job, and sadly for me it was like a little vacation... time away from the kids with no worries in the world just enjoying a great day and catching up with Song.

A marathon is SO hard, and anyone who does it is a true hero in my book. Congrats to Song for beating her goal time and THANK YOU SO MUCH for a great morning of running and girl time!

And to the other runners: HEATHER you suck. You are a speed demon and I wish I could have been there with you! I am so so so impressed.
CRAIG, you did so amazing. Way to go. Let's do one together in a week two or three or ten... whatever you prefer. You know you missed my aroma! LOL

The fun house

I wanted the basement to be a place where the kids would want to hang out with their friends and a place that would give us hours of entertainment. It is slowly becoming that place. We are missing a big fat TV and a less ghetto couch, but the fun is defiantly in the HOUSE! We have been having tons of Basketball Tournaments and playing ping pong and checkers like crazy. The kids are loving it and so are their friends. Our empty bonus room upstairs has now become the indoor soccer and dodgeball room, which has been so much fun. Hopefully this will get us through the winters in the future!

This is the place state park

Coren, Lucy, Gilda and I went to This is the Place State Park today. I have never been there and it was so much fun! We will for sure be going back! Coren was in heaven and so was Lucy. Gilda and I were totally surprised at all of the fun stuff we saw and shocked and how things were back in the day. I think was both agree that we are glad we live now (especially after seeing the tools at the hospital and the way they pulled peoples teeth out! WOW!!!!)!
