We have been waiting a long time for the sun to come out and shine. It seems like the winters last so long and the summers are so short. All winter long I freeze and ask Steve why we are not smart enough to live in Hawaii. He tells me that he is ready to go at anytime. I just need to say the word.
Saturday we finally had a little bit of sun and we spent the day out in the yard getting ready for Spring and Summer. The boys got so excited about the heat of the sun that they took off their shirts and let the sun soak in. I admit that I was still in long pants and a sweatshirt, but I have high hopes that one day I will be hot. I LOVE being hot!
On a side note, weeds are not my friend. Neither is grass that grows into my flower beds. WOW, yard work is a great workout! Thanks to my boys for all of their help!

So, I'm wondering if you have any secret tools or methods about getting the grass out of your flower beds...mine has grown crazy! It's a lot of effort to get it out...like full-on grass now. Let me know if you have secret skills or if it's just hard work and time! :>
