Story time!

Boy oh boy do I have a story for you.  I hope you are sitting down for this one.

From 2011

That's Jeff.  Jeff is Steve's trusty right hand man.  He has been Steve's laborer for many many years now.  Steve had him while he was at Richmond, and has since used him whenever he needs some help.  Jeff is a special person.  Really!  Never have I seen someone so happy and with such a positive outlook on life.  He doesn't care about money, in fact he gives it all away, and he is always whistling and telling you how great life is.  The man doesn't sit still, and always has a story to tell.  Some I cannot repeat.  WOW!

This picture doesn't show the true Jeff.  Sadly, I took it through my window.  Stalker, YES I AM!  I wish I would have gotten a better picture.  He recently cut his hair off, it is normally long and shaggy.  He has a few teeth.  Moving on.

Jeff lives with his Mom most of the time.  He takes care of her and the other elderly people in her neighborhood.  He has no bills, no car, no lisence (his was taken away, another story for another day) and no worries.

Many years ago he started to tell Steve about his HOT girlfiiend Cindy.  Again, can't tell the stories here.  Steve always got a kick out of it and thought it was maybe a figment of his imagination.  Some stories were more than he could handle.  One day Steve comes in the house and says, "Brandi, Jeff is here.  He brought Cindy."  He had a strange look on his face.  I ran out and there she was.  A TOTAL BABE!  Things that make you go hmmmmmmm.

Well, recently he has been telling us that he has around five women.  One of which he has been living with.  He said, "she meets almost all of my needs.  ALMOST!"  When he told me this I was speechless.  He said she is his sugar mama, but he still dates Cindy.  In fact, last weekend they all went to Lava Hot Springs together, his Mom and the Sugar Mama slept in the hotel, and he and Cindy in a tent.  He is proud.  I mean I guess he should be.  Most men can't pull this off.  Again, he has a few teeth.

Steve met the sugar mama.  He said she is in her 80's but very energetic.  I guess she came to pick him up and went driving around in her Cady like a teenager and they were all in the car laughing (Jeff, the Sugar Mama, and jeff's mama!).  Steve just chuckles.  I guess Steve must see a lot of crazy stuff, because to me this would be a highlight in my life.  I mean really?  Really?

So I HAD to see this sugar mama.  I never get much out of Steve other than a 80 year old woman who is energetic.  That doesn't do it for me~!  Saturday she came to our house to pick him up.

I saw her car pull up and I grabbed the camera.  I had to crawl with it to the front window and then kind of try to take pictures without her seeing me.  Pathetic I know.  But it is worth it.  When I saw her I nearly fell over, and I was ALREADY DOWN!

With out further delay, may I present, his sugar mama...

Corens first soccer game

Finally, finally, FINALLY!  I think Coren has tried almost every sport, well a lot anyways.  He is always pretty good at them, but isn't interested to try very hard at them.  He has been begging me to do soccer and I finally said okay.  Glad I did.  He is in love.  He got out there and looked like he had been playing forever.  He started out as goalie, even though they weren't supposed to have a goalie.  He was really great at it.  I did hear some Dad say, "That Coach doesn't know what he is doing.  They aren't supposed to have goalies."  To which I came really really close to replying, "why don't you get off your fat ass and be the coach then?"  But I held back.   Finally the coach (Dad) made him get out on the field and the second he did I started filiming and BAM  he scores.  I never catch the cool moments on film.  I was so excited.  He went on to score another goal and did such a great job.

I think we have found his sport!

Nursery Rhyme Festival

Coren had his Kindergarten Nursery Rhyme Festival.  They memorized lots of nursery rhymes and then they chose their favorite to act out for the school and their parents.  He chose Jack Be Nimble.  It was a hard one to dress him for, and their candle stick got broken early on but he loved it.

It was fun to see how creative people are and how excited all of the kids were.  His cute friend Tannon went all out for Hickory Dickory Dock, it was really cute.  We even ran into Kenna and her friends.  It was lots of fun!

Another birthday another cake!

Finally, Tim turned thirty!  It seemed like he was always so young and never catching us!  At least he feels a little closer now.  Tim is more obsessed with golf than anyone I know.  Emily decided that we should make him his golf bag, because he might just love it more than her.  Not really, but close!  It turned out great!

The Aquarium

We went with the cousins to the Living Planet Aquarium.  The kids loved it.  They had so much fun petting the stingrays and watching the cute penguins.

Carson is eight!

From 2011

Carson finally turned eight!  He has been waiting for so long for his birthday!  It was a great day for him.  He woke up and requested waffles, of course!  Then we went over to the rec. center and the kids played basketball and climbed the rock wall while me and Steve snuck in a quick work out.

After lunch we took off to HollyWood Connection with his cousins.  Alex has a birthday the day before Carson and Kyle the day after so it was one big party.  First, we went rollerskating.  I was shocked at how much the boys improved.  At first they couldn't even stand up on their own, but they never gave up and by the end they were making it around without our help.  I was really proud of them.  Kenna was of course cruising around like a natural.  We mini golfed and they loved all of the rides.  We were there for about six hours!  At the end they all got little balloon things made;they had a great day!

The next day we celebrated with cake and ice-cream and presents.  It was Kyles birthday and he was so excited.  Emily and I made a lego cake which was a huge hit, and that morning I decided to make a personilized cupcake for each kid.  Carson helped me!  They got made in just an hour so they didn't look awesome, but the kids loved them!!
