TRICK-OR-TREAT

Tonight is a rainy night for trick-or-treating, but that didn't stop us. The kids are out and about right now making a candy killing. The sugar highs are going to be crazy! Here they are all dressed up and ready to go, right after eating the mummy dogs for dinner. What a bunch of cuties I have.

Carsons school party.

I was lucky enough to go and help at Carsons class party. Coren came with me and was a huge helper. We were in charge of cookie decorating and root beer. Carson loved having us there and it was fun to meet all of his many friends. I love my little Carson. He is so sweet! Totally off the subject but he will always come up behind me and start to rub my back and then give me a kiss and smile. LOVE HIM!

Fatty!

Let your kids make their own breakfast and this is what you get. Frosted Flakes in Strawberry Milk in the biggest bowl we have. Now that starts the day off right! Nice one fatty!

Spooky!

From *

Things are getting a little bit scary around here! I am sitting in a cold quiet messy house smelling pumpkin seeds and icy hot and wondering if it could get any scarier than that. I kinda wanna puke! Tomorrow is our big annual Halloween Party and we are expecting close to one hundred freaks to show up around seven thirty. I love the party but the getting ready part haunts me more that Halloween itself! This year the theme is famous. Famous people, famous things, really anything famous. I am a little bit frightened about how our costumes will come out this year, especially after last years paining ourselves black fiasco! I will never forget putting that nasty black OIL stuff on my face and just watching it soak into my pores, only to apply more and watch it do the same thing. Nothing is more frightening than that!

Slacking as usual, I have yet to put up the Halloween decor. I am a clutter hater, and feel like bat and ghosts just stress me out. Then there are the fake cobwebs, why add more cobwebs? Its a mystery! But we did finally get around to carving pumpkins. The kids literally dug in and let me tell you, pumpkin guts they were flying. It was so much fun. They were so cute and carved all by themselves this year. Such big kids.

This morning I woke up two a couple of spastic kids yelling, "it's crazy hair day, get up!" So I flew out of bed to beat them for waking me... I mean so I got up and of course wanted to make them look cute for their big day. Coren refused. Just as he refuses every year. He will not participate in crazy hair day. It is so funny to me. He likes his hair to look perfect. I guess he is a hair guy. I kinda love that he does his own thing. He could care less about following the crowd.

And as for tomorrow night, and the situation with our costumes, I think it is going to work out. It will either be really cool or really not cool. So that is that. Time will tell. I have been having some nightmares about it, not sure if that is good or bad. At least I don't have to paint myself BLACK... *sigh* man, why do I do the things I do on Halloween!?
