We made two trips up to Lava this year. It is always our favorite spot to camp. The first took we took was with Tim and Emily (and Luce) and they were so excited to come up for the first time ever. We have been trying to get them up there every year.
On the way up we ran out of gas. The gas gauge was broken on my Dads truck and I guess we thought we had more gas than we did. It was actually pretty funny, and luckily our trailor has gas so Steve made a little homemade gas can and got us to the next gas station. I just sat on the side of the road laughing at him.
Once we got up there we spent the weekend on the 4 wheelers, the zipline, the slide, walks, and tons of time laughing by the campfire. It was such a fun trip!
