OH GREAT GOAT!?!

Carson was SO SO SO excited. His grade was making an art gallery. They were all going to make a piece of art and then the community and other students could donate money and they would use the money to help others in need. The project's goal was to raise money to buy animals for third world countries that would help them sustain life. The kids were to come up with an aminal that could help them, write a paper about how it would help, and use art to show their animal or concept.

Carson decided on a goat. He said that they could use the milk. He decided that he would sculpt a goat who was standing there eating hay with a bucket under it to collect the milk. He said that he was the only one in his class doing a sculpture so he was pretty exicted about it.

I took him and bought him sculpting clay and we came up with some ideas for the horns and stuff. You could tell he had it all planned out in his mind.

He took his materials to school the next day and came home so excited becuase the goat turned out really good. Well that night we went to the school for another reason and he took me to his class to see the goat. I didn't even have the words to say. I just gave him a huge hug and kept looking at it trying to figure out what was what. Cute Carson!

(The head is on the left and it is eating hay) His sculpture actually earned about twenty bucks, as it should have. A lot of love and thought went into it. They earned about $700 and are going to buy lots of animals for these people in need. A great cause and a GREAT GOAT!
