Christmas Eve.

The kids get so excited on Christmas Eve.  I was really curious about how excited Makenna would be seeing as this was the first year she was not "a believer" but she was way into the whole thing as usual.  She left a note, and her and the boys set out cookies for Santa with some milk, and carrots for the reindeer with some water.  They even left him a festive napkin, which they found crumbled and dirty on Christmas morning.  The cookies were eaten, and the carrots had been nibbled on.  How exciting!

Coren was excited for bed, and had all of the loot that he got at that evenings Christmas party behind his pillow so that no one could steal it in the night.  He slept on it all night long, and the good news was that it was still there in the morning.

The kids all spend Christmas Eve sleeping together, locked in a room.  They have a phone, and have to call us before they can come out.  They love it!  I told them that when they get older they all need to bring their families to our house on Christmas Eve (at least sometimes) so that we can have a giant Christmas morning.  They all agreed that they would.  That would be fun!  I hope it happens.
